Chloe is big enough to be performing in her first dance recital! I think I am almost more excited than her! The dance company booked the little girls to dance at the local senior citizens center to help them to get ready for the big night. It was so fun to watch!
There was even a little unexpected excitement during the performance!
Half an hour earlier, our little family of 6 grew by one more. Since I'm not pregnant this summer and we don't have a newborn, that means that we needed to get a puppy, right? Since we also don't like to do things on small scales, we decided to get the absolutely biggest, fuzziest dog we could think of . . . and then let it live in the house. We are so excited and in love with our new little guy . . . . Geddy Lee. He's a Bernese Mountain Dog, and he is now 6 weeks old and I'm thinking he's around 25 pounds. Should I be nervous???!?!?!
All we know is that he is the sweetest little guy we could have asked for. We knew we wanted a nice, patient, and calm dog, but Geddy is already living up to that by demanding to be carried around sporting events (because walking is very tiring!!!). There'll be more pictures to come, of course!
