Jake's basically a man now

Jake is pretty ready to strike off on his own now. He feeds himself (ramen noodles are meant to be eaten with your hands, right?),

He has friends come over (notice the noodle-hand-eating -- it's a big thing),
he always has his horse by his side,
he tells funny jokes,
he steals his mom's protein shakes (which he calls, "nums!")


plus, he's making a lot of intelligent choices these days. Next step is college, I guess!
